The Sinan Akdeniz Foundation is an independent institution established by the Dorfner Group. It is a helping hand that we extend not only to our own employees, but one that focuses on helping everyone. Anyone in need through no fault of their own can count on it. In the same way, anyone who wants to do good can help – that’s what makes our togetherness special.
THE NAMESAKE
Even after many years in management, Sinan Akdeniz continues to see the world through the eyes of employees. In many situations, he has shown that employees can trust him even with sometimes very personal concerns – which is why the foundation was named after him.
Akdeniz’s compass of values, standing by the weak without losing sight of the big picture, makes him the ideal patron and namesake for the foundation. Helping those who have not been favored by fate has always been his top priority. With the Sinan Akdeniz Foundation, his goal now has a face, an institutionalized framework and the necessary financial strength to turn a wish into reality.

The foundation is concerned with concrete and practical help for people in need through no fault of their own. The organization and structure of the Sinan Akdeniz Foundation, the approach and, above all, its motivation enable it to act quickly, uncomplicatedly and unbureaucratically. Many people find it difficult to take the first step and seek help, which is why the foundation attaches great importance to handling your personal request anonymously and confidentially. The foundation exclusively helps people in need. Institutions, associations, societies or the like are not supported. The approval of donation requests is governed by fixed guidelines set by the board of directors and the board of trustees. The majority of the donations are taken over by the Dorfner Group.
