Since 2022, the Dorfner Group has had a new shareholder: our family foundation called the Karl Heinz Rohrwild Foundation. The name of the foundation preserves the memory of the former owner Karl Heinz Rohrwild senior, who played a major role in shaping the company. The previous shareholders, Doris, Helmut and Karlheinz Rohrwild, have decided to transfer their shares to the joint family foundation in order to ensure the continuation of the Dorfner Group and thus also the company’s success for generations to come.

FOUNDATION BOARD AND FOUNDATION COUNCIL
For Karlheinz Rohrwild, the grandson of the company’s founder and son of the foundation’s namesake, this is a historic step in the history of the service provider, which was founded in 1949. “Like the family itself,” says Karlheinz Rohrwild, “the family foundation is something for the ages. It offers us all maximum long-term security.”
Peter Engelbrecht, the general manager of the Dorfner Group, sees this step as the beginning of a new era: “We can all be proud and happy, because we have ushered in another era in the history of our company. This is particularly important for the future of the Dorfner Group after the post-war build-up and the growth phase around the turn of the millennium.” Together with Holger Lösch and Sinan Akdeniz, Peter Engelbrecht heads the foundation as a member of the board. The foundation board is made up of the previous shareholders Doris, Helmut and Karlheinz Rohrwild. As Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Karlheinz Rohrwild represents the interests of the Foundation and is always available to advise the Executive Board at any time.
